Royal Expert Skincare Review

I was being introduced to this new range called Royal Expert. So after researching about this range I find that there are quite limited reviews about this brand but most of the reviews are positive. So I when ahead and purchase it from my colleague who stays in JB. It cost rm$160=sgd$62 for one set. The set consist of one liquid face cleanser, one brightening cream and one bar of whitening soap.

I used the face cleanser and brightening cream for my face and the whitening soap for my body for one week. And after one week, omg!!! My face that only have a few pimples here and there began to be popping out with more pimples. Omg!!! Pimples on my forehead, both cheeks and at my chin area. I really feel like crying. :( I have been taking good take of my face to ensure minimal pimples but this happens. I straight away stopped using this skin care range and Google on what alternative cleansers are good for my skin. I found two alternatives, Neutrogena or Cetaphil. After much thinking, in the end I choose Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash. I also used the Nature Republic 92% Aloe Vera Soothing Gel as a moisturiser and Kojic-San cleaner+toner as my toner.

I will do a product review about on the above mention products soon. Anyway about the Royal Expert range, both the face cleanser and brightening cream didn't work out for me but the whitening soap was good. :) I only used it on my body. Hmm, its not that foamy but it keeps the job done. Their soap have those kind of olden days scent like those bar soaps that my grandma used before. A light floral and herbal scent which I am okay with. Mild peeling will also occur after you used the soap for a few days.

Time for its final verdict,

Product
- Made in Pakistan
- about sgd$62 for 1 set
- cleanser:200ml, brightening cream:50ml, whitening soap:1 bar
- The whitening soap its good and work for me. :) but the other 2 has an adverse reaction. :(

Instructions
(from the package)
cleanser - squeeze a small amount on dampened palm, lather well massage gently in circular all over the face and rinse with warm water.
brightening cream - apply and massage gently into the face and neck in an upward circular motions. For best results use twice a day.
whitening soap - rinse face with warm water, apply lather over face, massage upwards and rinse after. Best used twice a day.

Conclusion
I would continue purchasing the whitening bar soap as it works for me but the other 2 is a big no-no. One bar of the whitening soap cost sgd$8 which is affordable for me than the other brands of whitening soap I had used before. If you want to know more about this product range, you can post it under the comment section below. Thank you. :)

Shikon Brightening Body Soap Review

Hello there. >.<
Its been awhile since my last posting. As you know that I love exploring into the world of whitening products, I found a new product that I just had to try. It's the Shikon Brightening Body Soap. I cut the soap into two so that it can last longer. :)

What is Shikon?
Shikon also known as purple gromwell has been cultivated in Japan since the Nara period for its root. It is used for herbal medicine and to make dyes. The plant contains allantoin which accelerates cell regeneration and is being used to heal wounds, rashes, minor skin infections, insect bites and burns. It also helps to heal skin inflammations such as eczema and acne. As it accelerates cell regeneration, it exfoliate the skin thus making the skin looked brighter. Below are the list of ingredients for the soap.

The soap is also being made using the cold process method. On the picture below, it will show you more about what is cold process.

Okay, review time!

Product
- Made in Japan (Handmade)
- sgd$15.90 + sgd$0.80 normal postage via Qoo10
- Weight 100g
- Lavender Scent
- Quite foamy
- You will feel squeaky clean
- Doesn't cause any peeling
- Does brightens the skin

Instructions
(from the package) - Wet skin. Make a lather, apply foam on face/body. Rinse thoroughly.
I used the soap only for my body and not my face cause my face is acne prone and quite sensitive.

Conclusion
I love the lavender scent when using the soap and the soap really lathers well. It makes my skin feel squeaky clean after bathing and does brightens up my skin too. However, I find that sgd15.90 for one soap is quite expensive. Imagine 1 month=1 soap, 12 months =12soaps, 12soaps=sgd$190.80. Thats expensive! I hope the seller could lower the price of the soap cause with this amount I would rather purchase the Tokyo Love Soap as it is more effective than this soap. Let me know if you got any questions about the product under the comment section below. Thank you. :)
