MAC Powder Kiss Soft Matte Eyeshadow Strike A Pose

 Hello there lovelies,

Happy 2021! Its been a long time since I have written a review. Lots of things happened during the Covid-19 pandemic. To all of you reading this please stay safe and continue being strong. Okay, time for a product review. This will be my first make-up review.

About the Product
MAC Powder Kiss Soft Matte Eyeshadow - Strike A Pose

The Powder Kiss collection started with their lipstick range and now it has expanded to include eyeshadow range too. It is blendable and have a soft and gliding texture.

Strike A Pose is a very light peachy orange with a warm undertones and matte finish. It is a buildable coverage and has a very powdery texture specially when using the eyeshadow brush. It is best to apply using the finger instead to minimize eyeshadow fallout. I would recommend using a primer before putting on the eye shadow to make the pigmentation more buildable.

This is how it will appear onto your skin using an eyeshadow brush vs using the finger. My skin tone is NC37 and the colour is really soft and subtle which I really love.

Product
MAC COSMETICS
Powder Kiss Soft Matte Eyeshadow
1.5g
sgd$39.00
from Sephora

Conclusion
The formula is super easy to apply. I swipe the colour straight over the lid with my finger and then ta-dah, its done. Would I repurchase this eyeshadow? Yeah :)

Blanc Snail Moisturizer Review

Hello there >.<

Its been a while since my last post. Hehehe.
If you are a big fan of Qoo10 especially facial product you should know about this brand. It the Blanc Snail Moisturizer also known as the Blanc Acne Scar Cream. Let me show you the product, Ta-dah!

About the Product
It contains ingredients that will help to speed up to recovery of scars especially pimple scars. There are 2 ingredients that I would like to point out,
1. EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor) - It speed up the cell renewal and promotes healing. It also reduces wrinkles and is anti-aging.
2. Snail Mucin - Contains 10500mg on snail extract. It a natural ingredient that helps to heal wounds.

The rest of the ingredients are listed below.

Product
Made in Korea
50ml
sgd$55.80 with free registered mail
from Qoo10 seller Pitt

Instruction
After washing face, apply this cream to the whole face as it can be a substitute for a toner.
For me, one pump is enough for the whole face. If I put more than that it will have abit of sticky feeling.

Conclusion
Ok, in terms of the pricing, it is very expensive. For sgd$55.80, I don't think that I would want to purchase it again. Secondly, I can't use this product before make up cause it will have a sticky after feeling. :( I only use it before i go to sleep. It does heals my pimple scars by abit but it doesn't prevent or reduces pimples so you'll have to buy a separate cream for remove pimples which I find very troublesome. Final verdict, this is a good acne scar cream but not so good in acne prevention.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Review

Hi there.
2 down, 1 more to go. Hehehe. I've already done the Koijc San and the Nature Republic review. Now I'm going to do a review on this disappointing product that claims to be one of the best cleanser recommended by dermatologist. There you go....

As I my acne started after I used the wrong product, I begin to go online and research for the best cleanser that is suitable for my face. The funny thing is that I didn't research further to see their bad reviews. I just Googled "best cleanser for acne skin" and this Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash official website pop out as one of the top search. So I tell myself ok, I am going to get this. Moreover it is recommended by dermatologist, so why not. The next day, after work I when to JEM Watsons and spend half and hour checking out all the acne cleanser and find that hmm, maybe Neutrogena is actually not bad. So I when ahead and purchase one bottle of it.

I when back home so excited to try this cleanser. For the first day, everything was alright but it stings abit. The second day onwards, my both cheeks were very itch and my skin was dry. I can't stop scratching. Even at work I tried to control the itchiness but it is just too itch to control. The itchiness died down the next day but my skin was it horrible condition. Not only was it bursting out with acne, it was also rough on the cheeks. Haiz, from bad to worst. I stopped using this product and decided to use my sister's Body Shop Tea Tree Cleanser instead before purchasing anymore cleanser. After using the Tea Tree Cleanser it for afew days, I find that my pimples are being controled and decided the to buy the trial set. Hmm, I'll will do a review on that too. :)

I think its less than sgd$15
Available in any major stores like Watsons, Guardian, NTUC and more....

Instruction
(from the package) - Use twice a day. Wet your face. Apply to your hands, add water and work into a lather. Massage your face gently and rinse thoroughly.

Conclusion
Nope. -.-
I am not gonna repurchase this product again cause of the adverse reaction that happens to my face. I am also not going to recommend this to anybody. I am surprised it is made in Korea cause I know that Korean products are good but this is not the case. However, I also see that there are positive reviews about this product so it really make or breaks you. Maybe I'm allergic to one of their ingredients, which is unlikely but do be careful when you want to try this product k.

Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Review

Hello there >.<
One down and 2 more to go. I have already done with the Kojic San Cleasner+Toner review and today, I am going to do a review on Ta-dah!

One tub for lots and lots of uses.

And yes, I loveee this product. :D

Aloe Vera has 101 uses from treating your sunburnt skin to a make up base. It really has a lot of uses. I'll list down what I usually use the gel for below,

1. Treating sunburn.
It acts as a protective layer on the skin and helps replenish its moisture and the skin will heal faster.

2.As a moisturizer.
Moisturizes the skin without giving it a greasy feel, good for oily skin.

3. Acne Treatment.
Contains two hormones: Auxin and Gibberellins. Provide wound healing and anti-inflammatory properties that reduce skin inflammation. Giberellin in aloe vera acts as a growth hormone stimulating the growth of new cells. It allows the skin to heal quickly and naturally with minimal scarring.

4. Fights aging.
Contains a lot of antioxidants including, beta carotene, vitamin C and E that can help improve the skin's natural firmness and keep the skin hydrated.

And what I really love about this brand is that they have spearmint so whenever you apply the gel to any part of your skin it feels cool. Especially in our hot and humid weather. Loves :)
You can try this product if you want to but don't forget to check the ingredients first to see if you are allergic to anyone of them. One thing to take note, they have alcohol so if you are allergic or sensitive to alcohol based products I think its best for you to stay way from this product.

Product
Made in Korea
I thinks its less than sgd $5 cause I bought it from Korea and they are having a sale. :)

Conclusion
I would definitely purchase this product again. >.<
You have also purchase it from qoo10. If you got any questions about this product, ask me at the comment section below. Thank you. :)

Royal Expert Skincare Review

I was being introduced to this new range called Royal Expert. So after researching about this range I find that there are quite limited reviews about this brand but most of the reviews are positive. So I when ahead and purchase it from my colleague who stays in JB. It cost rm$160=sgd$62 for one set. The set consist of one liquid face cleanser, one brightening cream and one bar of whitening soap.

I used the face cleanser and brightening cream for my face and the whitening soap for my body for one week. And after one week, omg!!! My face that only have a few pimples here and there began to be popping out with more pimples. Omg!!! Pimples on my forehead, both cheeks and at my chin area. I really feel like crying. :( I have been taking good take of my face to ensure minimal pimples but this happens. I straight away stopped using this skin care range and Google on what alternative cleansers are good for my skin. I found two alternatives, Neutrogena or Cetaphil. After much thinking, in the end I choose Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash. I also used the Nature Republic 92% Aloe Vera Soothing Gel as a moisturiser and Kojic-San cleaner+toner as my toner.

I will do a product review about on the above mention products soon. Anyway about the Royal Expert range, both the face cleanser and brightening cream didn't work out for me but the whitening soap was good. :) I only used it on my body. Hmm, its not that foamy but it keeps the job done. Their soap have those kind of olden days scent like those bar soaps that my grandma used before. A light floral and herbal scent which I am okay with. Mild peeling will also occur after you used the soap for a few days.

Time for its final verdict,

Product
- Made in Pakistan
- about sgd$62 for 1 set
- cleanser:200ml, brightening cream:50ml, whitening soap:1 bar
- The whitening soap its good and work for me. :) but the other 2 has an adverse reaction. :(

Instructions
(from the package)
cleanser - squeeze a small amount on dampened palm, lather well massage gently in circular all over the face and rinse with warm water.
brightening cream - apply and massage gently into the face and neck in an upward circular motions. For best results use twice a day.
whitening soap - rinse face with warm water, apply lather over face, massage upwards and rinse after. Best used twice a day.

Conclusion
I would continue purchasing the whitening bar soap as it works for me but the other 2 is a big no-no. One bar of the whitening soap cost sgd$8 which is affordable for me than the other brands of whitening soap I had used before. If you want to know more about this product range, you can post it under the comment section below. Thank you. :)
